I am trying to come up with original topics to blog about while still keeping my blog somewhat personal, I know a lot of people online today like to make money with their websites but I have my own way of making money and getting things. If you follow me on twitter or have been reading my blog since I was at L0vestrukk.net you know how I get down. So I really like lists which is somewhat weird considering I am very unorganized offline and somewhat messy which drives SO up the wall but online I like to keep my stuff somewhat organized and in folders.
So for today’s Five things I love and Can’t live without post I am going to list products and websites that make my life easier online, for this website and other things.
- Gmail: I have used a lot of companies for email (yahoo, hotpop, hotmail, msn, outlook) but gmail is still my favorite for the simple fact that I can make as many emails as I want. I have several gmail emails, I have my main one which I check daily and I use for surveys, sweepstakes and this site. I have my group/personal one which I use for an RTA group I am in and my book groups on yahoo, I have the one I use strictly for amazon and then I have my misc one that I use for everything else. I hated how gmail groups everything by conversation but I recently figured out how to change that in settings…it’s perfect.
- Core FTP: Other FTP programs never seem to work for me so I keep trying them but end up going back to Core. The main reason is it’s 100% FREE. I like free.
- CoffeeCup HTML Editor: I have always written HTML by hand but Notepad annoys me and this program is free also sometimes I make an error (we all do) and CoffeeCup catches it and lets me know.
- Betternet VPN: I have a TV show and Movie addiction and sometimes I use torrents, this program which is also free blocks my IP address so no one can see what I am downloading. It is simply wonderful…
- Canva: A lot of bloggers use this site and a lot of writers too, my list wouldn’t be complete would a mention of it. When I used to publish my novels on Wattpad I would use it to make ebook covers for my books. Now I use it to make twitter headers for my profile page. You can make just about any graphic you what using this site…they have a lot of premade things you can use for free and you can play around with text too.
That is it for my list of online tools, which online tools can you not live without? Leave your list in the comments.

This is a great idea for a blog post and cool to see the things that you use! I have been using Gmail for a long time and it’s still my favourite one. 😀
The online tool I use the most is probably Grammarly. 😀
Thanks for the tip on Grammarly, I’ve heard good things about that site/tool.
I’m trying to come up with more blog topic ideas for future posts.
Reading your blog is very timely. I have been looking for a VPN and I’d like to try Betternet as per your suggestion. I’d also downloaded Canva because I am curious. It looks like a similar app to Desygner which I have recently discovered as well.
I have tried using FTP before for one of my site but I started using WordPress and found that I currently have no use for it at the moment (or probably yet to discovered how important it would be). Would you mind sharing light on what you use FTP for? This might sound like a very noob question but perhaps, there’s something I could learn from it.
I use FTP for file transfer for the pages that aren’t on wordpress, the fan listings, hate listings and name listing pages currently. Its easier for me to have those pages off of wordpress then on wordpress for me.
Thanks for visiting.
